Good morning everyone!

I received a request from a parent at Oasis Academy that is looking to carpool. They live in the Rice Road/Moody Lane area. They drive to Oasis 3x daily to drop off/pick up kids. If anyone is interested in carpooling with them please email me at jhydeFOA@oasisacademyfallon.us and I will pass on their information. Have a great day!

C.A.R.E. after school program

C.A.R.E. is an after school program aimed at helping your child complete school work. Please call 427-5668 for details about the program or 423-7733 for registration information. This program is not through Oasis Academy but is offered by Churchill County Parks and Recreation.

6,000,000 PENNIES!

Mr. Lewis is asking for your help with his school project. He is asking for pennies to represent the number of Jewish people who lost their lives at the hands of the Nazi regime.

Please bring your pennies to the school in a ziploc bag, counted and amount labeled on bag.

Let's help the kids understand the magnitude of 6,000,000 by bringing your pennies for the project!

First day of school

The first day of school, Monday, August 27th, is quickly approaching. If you missed the meet the teacher event last night make sure to get in touch with the school. There are some new things going on at the school this year including homework binders that have IMPORTANT paperwork that needs to be returned A.S.A.P. Also, remember school starts promptly at 8 a.m. and to drop your student off in the round-a-bout on the west side of the school. Pull all the way to the front of the line and PAY CLOSE ATTENTION to the traffic volunteers at the school. They will help this process run smoothly. If you are getting out of the vehicle please do not park in the drop off area, park in the designated parking areas along the white fence facing the college or in the large parking lot between the school building and the bank. Thanks for your cooperation in these matters and we look forward to seeing you on Monday!
